Camiral Resort hosted the MW and Golfbreaks.com international Pro-Ams in early March. Golfbreaks.com organized its first international Pro-Am between 9-11 March at the Camiral Resort.
Jim Long, Director of Camiral Relations at Golfbreaks.com, said: ” The reason why we chose The Camiral to be the venue for our Golfbreaks.com Pro-Am tournament is because it has two fantastic championship golf courses and the finest practice facilities that you could ask for. Their superb golf combined with the excellent, friendly service by all their staff created a wonderful experience for all our international PGA Pros and amateur competitors. We also congratulate the Camiral on their Stadium Course, which was recently voted No 1 course in Europe by Top100golfcourses.co.uk. This distinction greatly added to our Pro-Am Tournament”.
Golfbreaks.com is Europe’s largest golf travel company and the Official Golf Travel Company of The PGAs of Europe & the Official Supplier to The PGA. The operator has announced that it will be bringing the international Pro-Am to the Camiral Resort again in 2013.
A few days earlier, between 4-6 March, Mike Wilby organized the 7th edition of MW Pro-Am at the Camiral Resort for the second year running, after spending five years at La Manga.
Mike Wilby commented: “We came to the Camiral Resort for the second time because of its two superb competition courses, the state-of-the-art practice facilities and services and marvelous weather. Also, the warm welcome and excellent service offered by all the staff make the experience even better for players. We had a great time and we will certainly be back again next year”.
