This December sees the exciting return of the European Tour Qualifying School to Camiral. For the fourth consecutive season, a host of 30 world-class players will arrive to compete in the final qualifying stage, all hoping for a coveted spot on the elite 2012 European Tour International Schedule.
From 10th to 15th of December the finalists will play on Camiral’s award-winning Stadium and Tour courses.
Miguel Girbes, our Golf Manager at Camiral Golf & Wellness says: “It is an honour to be selected once again to host The European Tour Qualifying School Final Stage, and we are looking forward to welcoming Europe’s up-and-coming talent to our two highly-rated golf courses. We are constantly striving to produce world-class facilities, and expect our new 5,000 square metre approach play practice zone to be open, complete with three greens and five bunkers, each with different types of grass and sand to replicate the finest courses in the world. I am sure the players will appreciate both the courses and the first-class training facilities we offer.”
Previous qualifying schools have produced some very talented players, including England’s Simon Khan who, after championing the final qualifying stage in 2009, went on to win the BMW PGA Championship Title in 2010. Who knows what new talent could emerge at this year’s qualifying school… Stay tuned to Life at Camiral to find out.
