Barcelona has been voted the best party city for New Year by Skyscanner customers and www.LifeatPGA.com could not agree more!
Skyscanner asked 1,000 of their customers in which city they would most like to spend New Year and with 12% of the votes Barcelona nabbed the top spot. See the other destinations chosen here.
Fending off some strong competition, Barcelona was chosen for its lively New Year celebrations as well as the ‘eating of the grapes’ tradition – where locals eat one grape per chime, each grape symbolising a month of good luck!
With so many direct flights available from the UK, Barcelona has also been named one of the most accessible cities to see in 2011 leaving us with no excuses not to visit.
